First things first, let's talk about supplies. To make cards, you'll need some basic materials such as cardstock, patterned paper, adhesive, scissors, and a cutting tool like a paper trimmer. You can find all of these items at your local craft store or online.

Next, choose a theme or occasion for your cards. Some popular themes include birthdays, holidays, and weddings.

ABOUT

Hi, my name is Angela Clark.

I have been making cards since I was a child. I made thank you cards for grandparents and other family members. As I got older, I continued making cards and other paper crafts to relax and unwind from my nursing job. Now that I am retired, I still love making cards but miss the teaching side of nursing I used to do. I felt led to start my business to help people bring out their creativity and help them see how that can foster happiness and stress relief.

My "Be Creative and Happy" business is about spreading joy and creativity through handmade cards and paper crafts. I believe that taking the time to create something with your hands can bring a sense of fulfillment and calmness to our busy world. Sharing your cards with family and friends for their birthdays, get well, and other occasions brings happiness to them!

This was WHY I started making cards. I loved being artistic, but always really struggled with drawing, until a friend introduced me to stamps!!! 💕 And I was hooked!!! I’ve been making cards for over 10 years now, & I’m so happy to have an artistic outlet that I can feel successful with! 💕

Getting hand made cards is a lost art and tradition these days. Which I think is what makes it that much more
Magical and special to get one. Be the person that puts a little magic into someone’s day!

My Abuelita (grandmother) made me cards for years! Beautiful cards. She’s 95 now and her hands are shaky so she doesn’t like to make cards or art anymore because she doesn’t have the precision she once had. I cherish all of the cards she made for me and have everyone of them still!
